This 3-session course will be held live over Zoom on Tuesday-Thursday, August 18, 19 & 20 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Pacific Time.

Would you like to increase your understanding of student behavior? Do you want strategies to be more Trauma Responsive? Are you interested in connecting with other educators to increase your capacity for responding with empathy?

Join us for a 3-day series for Educators. Each session will provide you with innovative information and strategies. CRI’s instructors will lead you to examine brain research, strategies for regulation, connection with staff, families and students, as well as structures that will enhance your learning environment.

This series is designed for administrators, teachers, paraeducators and other support staff who wish to build their capacity for supporting individuals impacted by Adverse Experiences (ACEs). You will have opportunities to engage with instructors and others in the educational field.

Daily Schedule:

  • August 18: The Science Behind Behaviors & Creating Resilient Spaces
  • August 19: Regulation Strategies & De-escalation
  • August 20: Connecting with Caregivers & Policies and Practices

 

This course is eligible for 6 Clock Hours through OSPI or .6 CEUs through Gonzaga University.
